Description	The application Bildbetrachter is used to view images. Several image documents can be viewed individually or at the same time. One image at a time can be edited with different image editing functions. An image document can be read in using a suitable input device (scanner, digital camera). A light box called Leuchtkasten gives an overview of the stock of image documents in a directory.
Field of application	View of Image Files in the Formats: Windows- and OS/2-Bitmap (bmp), Joint Photographic Expert Group (jpeg and jpg), Portable Network Graphics (png), Compuserve Graphics Interchange Format (gif), Tagged Image File Format (tiff and tif). Editing with one or more image processing functions. Scan documents and save them in one of the above image formats.
